Hey, feline fam, we have a question to ask you: what is a family? Is a family just the people you're related to? We don't think so. We think that you can make families at any time in your lives, just we're doing with you right now! We have our online feline family that we talk to every day through these listicles. We all like the same thing and like even more to talk about it (the thing is cats, obviously). So if families are connected by love for something, then we can definitely call these two rescue momma cats raising their orphaned litter of kittens a family, for sure!

These cats are not related at all, but both love being mothers and decided to raise the seven babies together. Their love truly is ameowzing to watch.   • So. Many. Snuggles. Seriously. It's soooooo awwdorable. We've watched this video about ten times already and we just can't get enough. They are the purrfect match. Who needs men, anyway? They certainly don't, and honestly, neither do we sometimes.

  • Only a 10/10 for cuteness? We think this deserves at least a 40/10, if not 100/10. You can judge it for yourself below, but for us, it's worth a lot more. Find yourself a person who loves you as much as these cats love each other and their adorable fluffy family.

    ever_precedent Lots of mammals do communal nursing and maternity when given the opportunity. Studies have shown that it's the superior way to raise offspring because the pups end up getting a lot more attention than from a sole mother, which results in all kinds of benefits for the pups throughout their lives. The more caring adults the pup has, the better.
